Rights in case of Missed Flight/No show:

>> Cancellation charges must be indicated prominently at the time of booking. The airlines shall refund all statutory taxes and User Development Fee (UDF)/Airport Development Fee (ADF)/Passenger Service Fee (PSF) to the passengers in case of cancellation/non-utilisation of tickets/no show.

No charge cancellation or amendment within 24 hours:

>> The passenger can cancel or amend the ticket without any additional charges, within 24 hours of booking the ticket. This facility is available upto 7 days prior to the specified flight departure on the first leg.

Few rights in case of Flight delays:

1. In a case where the passenger has checked-in on time, but the airline expects a delay of:

  • 2 hours or more in case of flights having a block time of 2.5 hours

  • 3 hours or more in case of flights having a block time of more than 2.5 hours, but upto 5 hours, or

  • 4 hours or more in case of not falling in the above category,

    >> then the passenger must be offered meals and refreshments free of charge in relation to the waiting time.

2. The airline experiences a delay in flight departure, communicated more than 24 hours prior to its original scheduled time and if delay is more than 24 hours or more than 6 hours for flights scheduled to depart between 20:00 and 03:00 hours:

>> then the passenger must be compensated with a free hotel accommodation.

Few rights in case of Flight delays:

1. The passenger is informed of the flight cancellation less than two weeks before but, up to 24 hours of the scheduled departure time

>>then the airline must offer the passenger an alternate flight allowing them to depart or refund the ticket, as acceptable by the passenger.

2. The passenger is not informed as per the above provisions or have missed the connecting flight booked on the same ticket number

>> then the airline shall either provide an alternate flight as acceptable by the passenger or provide a compensation in addition to the full refund, in the manner as specified.

The above attached charter of Passenger by MoCA also has other specified rights of passengers in case of flight diversion, boarding denied due to overbooking and rights of passengers with disability.
